Bal de Triomphe
Saturday, JUNE 25, 2022 | 4:30 PM
MUSIC HALL Ballroom
Event Chairs: Melanie M. Chavez and Jeannine Winkelmann
Thank you to all who attended and made the evening so meaningful. Your support of Cincinnati Opera was, and is, EPIC.
Return. Reunite. Reimagine.
After a two-year intermission, we reunited on Saturday, June 25 for the Bal de Triomphe, prior to the evening’s performance of La Bohème, and immersed attendees in the Parisian experience, with excitement, laughter, and, most importantly, music.
The Music Hall Ballroom was transformed into the Avenue des Champs-Élysées accompanied by the wonder of the Jardin de Tuileries—with cocktails, live jazz music, dancing, and a delectable dinner thoughtfully crafted by Chefs José Salazar of Mita's and Renee Schuler of eat well celebrations and feasts.
We honored our past Opera Ball chairs and past leaders who have done so much to continue the magnifique experience Cincinnati Opera has to offer. Following dinner, we all enjoyed the closing performance of Puccini’s La Bohème. After, we reconvened in the Music Hall Ballroom to close out our night at The Toast. This continuation of the Bal de Triomphe had everyone toasting to the future of opera and more under a starry Parisian night sky with sparkling wine, luscious French desserts, incredible artists, and celebratory surprises as we closed out a brilliant evening! Thank you to all who came and supported Cincinnati Opera!
